If you experience vehicle troubles, receive a recall or need a part replaced, you can bring your ride to a certified Toyota Service Center for repairs.

To help in your car ownership journey, the team at Gatorland Toyota has outlined the different warranties that come with your Toyota purchase below.

Toyota Warranty Overview and Coverage Details

Your Toyota model comes with a few different warranties — the Toyota New Vehicle Warranty, Accessories Warranty, Toyota Certified Used Vehicle Warranty and a Hybrid Warranty.1 Here’s a breakdown of each type of warranty and what it covers:

New Vehicle Warranties

Basic Coverage

New Toyota models come with a basic limited warranty. This warranty covers the electrical and mechanical parts of your vehicle. It does not cover everyday wear and tear.1

Powertrain Coverage

Powertrain Coverage protects your Toyota model’s engine, front-wheel-drive system, rear-wheel drive, transmission/transaxle, airbags and seatbelts.1

Rust-Through Coverage

This coverage covers corrosion perforation of sheet metal.1

Emissions Coverage

Due to Federal and California regulations, emissions coverage varies. To learn more about your vehicle’s coverage, check your Toyota model’s Warranty & Maintenance Guide.1

Accessories Warranty

This covers the accessories designed for your Toyota. If you purchase new accessories and a new vehicle together, those accessories will be covered for 36 months/36,000 miles. If Toyota accessories are purchased after the vehicle’s purchase date, the new parts will be covered for 12 months (starting on the installation date) or they will be covered for the remaining duration of any new vehicle warranty — whichever is longer.1

Toyota Certified Used Vehicle

Toyota Certified Used Vehicles undergo a meticulous 160-point inspection, while each Toyota Certified Used Hybrid vehicle receives a 174-point inspection. A limited comprehensive warranty, which starts on the vehicle’s certified purchase date, covers Toyota Certified Used Vehicles, both hybrid and gas-powered.2

Hybrid Warranty

When upgrading to a hybrid vehicle, not only do you get the new Toyota vehicle’s basic limited warranty, but you also get Hybrid-Related Component Coverage. This coverage includes the HV battery, hybrid control module, inverter with converter and battery control module.1 Initially, the hybrid battery warranty covered eight years or 100,000 miles, but hybrid Toyota vehicles with the model year 2020 and on are now covered for ten years or 150,000 miles — whichever comes first.1

Here’s a breakdown of each Toyota warranty and the warranty’s length:
