Support You Can Count On

At Gatorland Toyota in Gainesville, FL, customer safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. That's why we're proud to introduce Toyota Safety Sense.1 You can breathe easy thanks to technology like Pre-Collision System that uses a forward-facing radar and camera to scan the road ahead, helping you avoid any potential crashes. Auto High Beams keep you more aware at night while Pedestrian Detection not only protects you, but those outside of your car as well. Dynamic Radar Cruise Control takes safety to the next level as it detects speed and distance of the vehicle ahead of yours, even adjusting your speed accordingly to keep safe distances.

Safety Features

This innovative technology combines the power of forward-facing radar with a camera system, all to help you keep an extra set of eyes on the road. When a potential collision is detected, the system alerts the driver with both visual and audible warnings, as well as brake assistance. If the brakes aren't engaged and the collision is unavoidable, the brakes are engaged automatically.2

Currently Available on These Models 7

1Drivers should always be responsible for their own safe driving. Please always pay attention to your surroundings and drive safely. Depending on the conditions of roads, vehicles, weather, etc., the system(s) may not work as intended. See Owner's Manual for details.

2The Pre-Collision System is designed to help reduce the crash speed and damage in certain frontal collisions only. It is not a collision-avoidance system and is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving. System effectiveness depends on many factors, such as speed, driver input and road conditions. See Owner's Manual for details.

3The Pedestrian Detection system is designed to detect a pedestrian ahead of the vehicle, determine if impact is imminent and to help reduce impact speed. It is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving. System effectiveness depends on many factors, such as speed, size and position of pedestrians, driver input and weather, light and road conditions. See Owner's Manual for details.

4Lane Departure Alert is designed to read lane markers under certain conditions, and provide visual and audible alerts when lane departure is detected. It is not a collision-avoidance system or a substitute for safe and attentive driving. Effectiveness depends on many factors. See Owner's Manual for details.

5Auto High Beams operate at speeds above 21 mph. Factors such as a dirty windshield, weather, lighting and terrain limit effectiveness, requiring the driver to manually operate the high beams. See Owner's Manual for details.

6Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is designed to assist the driver and is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving practices. System effectiveness depends on many factors, such as weather, traffic and road conditions. See Owner's Manual for details.

7Feature availability may vary by model and trim level. See dealer for details.
